Lovelock Healing Arts Appointment Policies

Our goal is to provide every client with a relaxing, healing, and personalized experience.

To ensure care, consistency, and fairness for all, please review our appointment policies below.

Booking

• No Walk-Ins: We do not currently accept walk-ins for 60-minute or longer sessions, and we do not have a receptionist.
• Advance Booking: Appointments may be booked online up to 60 days in advance.
• Same-Day Appointments: The online booking window closes 3 hours before the desired start time to allow therapists to prepare the space and equipment.
  If you’d like to book within that 3-hour window, please call, text, or email us — we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee therapist or service availability.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

• 24-Hour Notice: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed 50% of the session rate.
• No-Shows: Missed appointments without notice are billed in full.
• Exceptions: Verified emergencies, illness, or unsafe weather conditions may be excused at the practitioner’s discretion.

Late Arrivals

Sessions end at the scheduled time to keep us on track.

Late arrivals will be charged in full, without time extension.

• First Visit: Arrive 15 minutes early to complete your intake form.
• Returning Clients: Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in and start on time.

Professional Conduct

We provide only professional therapeutic and relaxation services.

Sessions will be ended immediately in the event of:

• Harassment, threats, or inappropriate behavior
• Sexual remarks, advances, or requests
• Drug or alcohol intoxication

Full payment is required for terminated sessions.

Draping Policy

Clients are draped at all times with a sheet, blanket, or towel.

Only the area being treated is uncovered.

Breast and genital areas remain fully covered at all times, per Florida law.

Emergencies

We understand that life happens. Exceptions may be made for emergencies with prompt communication.

Please call, text, or email us as soon as possible if you must miss your session — it allows us to offer that spot to someone waiting.

Class & Workshop Policies

We aim to create a luxurious, relaxing, and personalized experience for every class and workshop.

These policies help us uphold care, consistency, and fairness for all participants.

Equipment

We provide mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, balls, straps, and weights as appropriate for each class or workshop. You’re always welcome to bring your own gear if preferred.

Booking

• Online Booking Window: Closes 30 minutes before class to allow instructors to prepare the space and equipment.
• Missed the Window? If you wish to drop in or pay cash, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in, complete a waiver, and allow for setup without disrupting class.
• Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before class to allow time for parking, check-in, and settling in with your instructor and community.

Cancellations & No-Shows

• Late Cancellation Window: Begins 6 hours before class.
• Early Cancellations: Cancel before the window and you’ll receive an automatic credit for future use. Package and membership credits are also returned automatically.
• Late Cancellations or No-Shows: If you cancel within 6 hours of class or don’t attend, you’ll forfeit the class credit or drop-in payment.
• Repeat No-Shows: More than one late cancel or no-show within a 30-day period incurs a $10 fee per occurrence.

Emergencies

We understand that unexpected things happen.

Exceptions may be made for verifiable emergencies with prompt communication.

Please call, text, or email us as early as possible if you can’t attend — it allows us to open your spot to someone on the waitlist.

Comprehensive Waiver & Release of Liability

This waiver must be electronically signed in Momence before participating in any physical or wellness activity at Lovelock Healing Arts, LLC.

It applies to all in-studio, virtual, and off-site activities.

Acknowledgment of Participation & Risk

By participating in any service or event offered by Lovelock Healing Arts, LLC (“LHA”) — including but not limited to massage therapy, bodywork, neurosomatic therapy, energy healing/Reiki, sound healing, hypnosis, spiritual advising, fitness or movement classes, workshops, and online offerings — I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree that:

1. Inherent Risks:
   Participation in physical and wellness activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:
   muscle strain, soreness, sprains, or aggravation of existing injuries; dizziness, fainting, or changes in blood pressure; allergic reactions to oils, lotions, or products; emotional or psychological responses to energy or bodywork sessions; and, in rare cases, serious injury, illness, paralysis, or death.
   These risks cannot be entirely eliminated even with care and proper technique.
2. Voluntary Participation:
   I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, even if arising from the ordinary negligence of LHA, its owners, officers, contractors, or employees (“Releasees”).
3. Exclusions:
   I understand this waiver does not release LHA or its representatives from liability for gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional misconduct, as prohibited by Florida law.
4. Compliance & Safety:
   I agree to follow all instructions, safety guidelines, and policies. If I observe an unsafe condition, I will immediately remove myself from participation and notify staff.
5. Health & Fitness Declaration:
   I affirm that I am physically and emotionally fit to participate in these activities and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or limitations to LHA staff prior to participation.
6. Communicable Diseases:
   I understand participation may expose me to infectious diseases including, but not limited to, COVID-19, influenza, or other airborne or contact-based illnesses. I accept this risk and agree to hold LHA harmless from any illness or transmission that may occur.
7. Release of Liability:
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, indemnify, and hold harmless Lovelock Healing Arts, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, independent contractors, volunteers, landlords, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or expenses arising out of participation in any LHA-sponsored activity, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
8. Ongoing Validity:
   This waiver remains in full force and effect for all future participation until revoked by written notice.

Minors

If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign this waiver.

The guardian acknowledges and accepts all terms on behalf of the minor participant.

Acknowledgment

I affirm that I have read and understood this Waiver & Release, understand that I am waiving certain legal rights, and agree to its terms freely and voluntarily without coercion or inducement

Photo & Media Release (Florida Statute 540.08 Compliant)

By agreeing to this release, I grant Lovelock Healing Arts, LLC permission to record, photograph, or capture my image, voice, or likeness (“media”) in any format, and to use such media for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to marketing, education, website, or social media content.

I understand and agree that:

• All media will become the exclusive property of Lovelock Healing Arts, LLC and will not be returned.
• LHA may edit, reproduce, publish, or distribute these materials without restriction.
• I waive the right to inspect or approve any final use of my likeness.
• I waive all rights to royalties, compensation, or further notice related to the use of my image or voice.
• I release and hold harmless Lovelock Healing Arts, LLC, its owners, staff, contractors, and assigns from all claims related to this authorization.
• This authorization extends to all lawful uses under Florida Statute 540.08, including commercial and advertising purposes.

If under 18, I confirm that my parent or legal guardian has consented to this release on my behalf.
